PURPOSE
The Pharmacy Technician program prepares students for employment as pharmacy technicians through hands-on training in prescription processing, medication preparation, pharmaceutical calculations, inventory management, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and pharmacy operations. Students develop the technical knowledge, professional skills, and attention to detail needed to support pharmacists, ensure medication safety, and provide quality patient care in retail, hospital, and other healthcare settings.
